I design and create each piece as a unique and colorful image of the underwater world, the tropics and the places I think of as paradise. My inspiration comes from years of living in the Florida Keys and traveling throughout the Bahamas and the Southern Caribbean. I love experimenting with color and I try to make every piece decorative, fun, creative and a conversation piece.
All of my artwork is handcrafted. I use vitreous glass tile, cut with either handheld tile cutters or nippers. I create my reef scenes on recycled vases purchased from thrift stores. The frames used on my wall hangings are made by my husband using old lobster traps from the Florida Keys. I like to leave them natural, giving a rustic, nautical look.
My artwork is for sale and shipping is not included in my prices. I also do custom work and would be happy to discuss ideas, specifications and prices. Please e-mail me if you have any questions and I will respond as soon as possible. I only work on one piece at a time from start to finish. Some pieces are done in a few weeks, others take more than a month.
I live in Southwest, Florida where I can be found working in my studio with our dog, Casey, always by my side!
